For many years two calendars, 1910 and 1911, were listed as unknown on the Santa Fe's Railways official listings. In the 1970's an article was discovered in a 1913 edition of the Santa Fe Magazine that indicated 1910 had been a photo representation of Indian pottery with the Santa Fe logo and 1911 to be a photo representation of an Indian Basket with a Santa Fe logo.
Various lists have included what is believed to be a representation of the 1910 pottery. A recent discovery may have enlightened us to what the 1911 basket looked like. Though neither of these original calendar prints are part of this collection (and no other collection to our knowledge), this is what we know about them. So should you see one of these in an antique store somewhere, snap it up and please let us know.
